My story

Meet Cassie! Sweet Cassie arrived with us with 4 puppies - the Spice Girls. Her pups have all found their forever homes and now it is Cassie's turn. Cassie is a cute brown and white little girl. She is very sweet and loving with people she trusts, but it does take her a minute. When she was found with her puppies she was protecting them so well. It must have been scary for her to be dumped with four tiny babies to keep safe. Now that her pups have left, she will learn that she doesn't need to be so guarded all the time.  Cassie seems to prefer women over men. She can do just fine with men but they will need to be a little patient with her. She can nip when she feels worried. Strangers will need to give her time to sniff and realize they are 'good people'. Once Cassie trusts you, she is a delight. She loves to sit on your lap and soak up all the love. She is great on a leash and likes to go for walks.  Cassie can be with other dogs but may be a little protective at times - this may be a product of her having been around other dogs while weaning her pups and wanting them to give her pups some space. Still, we think that Cassie will be very happy as an only dog so that she can be the queen of the house. She will do best with older kids (over 10).  Cassie is vaccinated, chipped and dewormed. She will be spayed soon once her body has fully recovered from weaning her pups. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
