My story

Hi!  My name is Hannah and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and my friend Harry used to have a home but our owner passed away and family members didn't want us so put us outside to fend for ourselves.  Lucky for us, a nice lady came and got us and asked BCAA if they could help us and they said yes!  I appear to be a yorkie mix but no telling for sure.  I look bigger in my pictures than I really am as I only weigh about 10-1/2lbs, and being about 3yo old I won't get any bigger.  I was really scared when I first got to our foster mom and dad's but they have been really sweet and given me time to learn that I can trust them; now I love having my belly rubbed and snuggling with them.  I've been good with the other small dogs I've met but just like people, I like to meet them on my own terms and not in my face; I haven't bothered those things called cats as they are bigger than me.  I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bed or blankets although I would really like to be out with you.  I do not appear to have ever been on a leash before so I will need time to learn that; in the meanwhile, I will need a fenced yard to take care of my business.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
