My story

Nubia isn't just a name-it's a whole vibe. This confident, curious girl came bounding into doggie playgroup like she owned the place, as if to say, "Welcome to Club Nubia-now let's party!" On her first day, she knew exactly what to do: run, chase, playbow, and bunnyhop her way into everyone's hearts. She had a blast with her playmates (two very patient boys!) and looked like she'd done it all a hundred times before. But don't let that perfect first impression fool you-Nubia's got layers. On a later day, she showed a bit more vocal sass and took on a slightly bossier role in the yard. Is she the life of the party or the manager of the guest list? We're still figuring it out-but either way, she's full of personality and charm.Nubia is easy to leash and walks past barking dogs without a care-she's focused on getting outside and getting going. She loves people, is learning "sit," and takes treats gently. Recently, she enjoyed a "day out" with a volunteer: after a bath, a burger, pup cup and some backyard time relaxing in front of a misting fan, she showed off her calm side. She needed a little boost to get into the car, but jumped right out when it was time-watch your toes! She rides well and stays alert, always curious about her surroundings and eager to explore. Check out my video!Whether she's being the fun-loving goofball or the assertive social director, she's always 100% herself-authentic, energetic, and absolutely unforgettable. If you're interested in learning more about Nubia, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Nubia 261022".Nubia is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 55.5 Age: 3yrs 2mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Nubia, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
