My story

Sandy is a 4-year-old Terrier-Dachshund mix with the gentle heart of a best friend and the low-rider charm of a classic doxie. She’s that perfect middle-aged pup—past the puppy chaos, but still full of life and love. With her soulful eyes, short little legs, and soft coat, Sandy is as adorable as she is easygoing. She’s mellow and affectionate, content to curl up next to you on the couch or quietly follow you from room to room. Her Terrier side gives her just a touch of curiosity and spunk, while her Dachshund roots bring out her loyal, cuddly nature and love of burrowing under blankets. Sandy is well-mannered, and gets along wonderfully with people and other calm dogs. She’d thrive in a home where she can enjoy the simple pleasures: leisurely walks, belly rubs, and being someone’s constant companion.
