My story

Hi there! I’m Millie, an 8-month-old Lab type girl with big puppy energy and an even bigger heart. I may come off a little shy at first, but give me a minute and I’ll be your new best friend—especially if you’ve got toys or something extra yummy! I’m still learning all the grown-up dog stuff like leash manners and commands, but I’m smart and independent. My former owner said I’m playful and love being around people—and it’s true! I’m 42 pounds of wiggles, zoomies, and splashes—yep, I love playing in the pool! I’d do best as your one and only pup—but if you have other dogs, the shelter thinks we should have a meet and greet before you take me home. If you`re looking for a sweet, silly, water-loving sidekick who’s ready to grow up by your side, I might just be your girl. Let’s meet!
