My story

Gogeto is an enthusiastic pup who’s always up for a good time! He’s excited, playful, and ready for any adventure! Gogeto is a social guy who greets new friends warmly and invites them to play with him with plenty of play bows and happy wiggles. He’s looking for someone who can keep up with his energy and appreciate his loving, affectionate side. Volunteers have noted that he is a ‘social butterfly’ and loves pepperoni. He loved running around aimless in the fenced in yard and also enjoyed chewing on and playing with the stuffie i gave him as well as a bone and tennis ball! Very high energy but seemed able to calm down once he tired himself running around. He also loved all of the attention he could get but was able to also play independently and keep himself busy when needed. He definitely needs a little help with becoming potty trained as he did have multiple accidents inside. Per volunteer 6/18: I love this boy! He is just a big, goofy, loving boy. When I asked him to sit, he would but backwards and tilt his head back and it'd would crack me up! He would get the zoomies and was just such a fun time! Per staff 6/18: Gogeto was very easy to leash and came right out once secured. he has lots of puppy like energy and was very social to people in the lobby. he jumped all over them with a wagging tail and loose body. he loves to run in the yard and played fetch and chased me in the yard. green 6/17/2025 Volunteer: the way this boy does these cute little hops when you’re trying to leash him made me laugh so much. It took a couple tries to leash him because of his excitement but it was well worth the wait because of how obsessed I am with him. He is a social butterfly, wanting to say hello to every one he saw, both human & dog. Once we were in the big yard, he sniffed around a lot, did his business and then it was play/cuddle time. This boy loves some good pepperoni and takes it very gently. He’s filled with so much love and would put his paws up on my lap when I was sitting on the bench so he could get all the pets. He’s the best! 06/17/2025 staff notes, playgroup: High energy, excited, playful, steerable w/ water, mounting, play bows, good greetings 06/15/2025 staff notes, intake: Gogeto was sitting down while we approached, we used baby voices and his tail began to wag and was able to leash him up without a stick .
