This handsome Mountain Cur is just under 2 years old and has a big heart. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Monti is also current on his monthly heartworm, flea, & tick prevention. Monti’s Favorite Things: Toys: Monti’s playtime is a blast! He loves squeaky toys, tug-of-war, and anything that gets him moving. Treats: Food motivated, Monti loves to learn new things with a tasty reward! He’s great at commands and enjoys training sessions. Running: True to his breed, Monti is full of energy and loves to run, whether it’s in the yard or on a long hike. Walks: A perfect walking buddy, Monti is great on leash and enjoys exploring new places. People: Monti is all about his humans. He’s affectionate, loyal, and will be your shadow through thick and thin. What Monti is Working On: Manners with Kids: Monti adores kids, but like all young dogs, he’s still learning the finer points of playing gently and respecting boundaries. He’ll need a family that’s willing to guide him through some basic manners. Monti needs slow, controlled introductions to other dogs and cats. Would do best with submissive dogs. Training & Behavior: Monti is house trained and enjoys his crate/playpen when left alone. He’s a smart, quick learner who already knows basic commands and is eager to keep learning.
