My story

Miranda is a spunky, affectionate kitten who adores attention and makes sure you know it! She’s full of energy, loves to chase feather toys, and is incredibly talkative — she always has something to say. But her sweet side is just as strong: Miranda is a total lovebug who gives headbutts, rubs up against your legs, and happily receives kisses. She gets along great with other cats and loves dogs — especially her foster dog buddy Waffle, who she frequently snuggles with. Miranda would love to be adopted with her brother Gordo or into a home with another playful companion. Miranda has her vetting done!  She has been spayed, had her vaccinations, preventative flea & dewormer, was tested for FIV/FELV, and is microchipped.  If you'd like to meet Miranda, fill out an application. There is no obligation, it just starts the conversation.  Approx DOB 3/19/2025.  Every Saturday & Sunday, Frisco Humane Society has Adopt-A-Pet events at PetSmart (3333 Preston Road, Frisco).  FHS has different adoptable cats there all weekend & adoption counselors on site to help, from Noon - 4 p.m. on both days.Interested in one of our cats/dogs? First step it to fill out the required adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.
