My story

Meet Dottie! Say hello to Dottie! A 2-year-old black, brindle & white pittie mix who’s as gorgeous as she is sweet! Weighing in at about 50 lbs, this fun-sized girl is full of love, wiggles, and playful energy! Dottie is a total sweetheart. She’s friendly, cuddly, and always ready for some fun. She’s been waiting sooo long for a forever home of her own. Picked up by animal control last August, she’s spent around 10 months in a kennel, and we’re crossing our fingers (and paws!) she finds her people before hitting a full year in the shelter. Dottie gets along with other dogs, especially her best shelter pal, Buddy. She would love a proper meet-and-greet with any potential furry siblings! She might also be okay with confident, dog-savvy cats with slow introductions, of course! She’d shine in a home with kiddos who know and love big, bouncy dogs.
