M'Lynn

My story

This is one of the absolute sweetest adult cats we’ve ever met. She did a phenomenal job raising three beautiful kittens (Truvy, Clairee & Drum), and now she’s looking for a forever home of her own. We’re not sure if M’Lynn had a home back when she was a kitten, but when she got pregnant she was living on her own, but was smart enough to find a perfect empty chicken coop (and welcoming family!) where she could safely raise her babies. When the whole family finally moved to one of our MPR foster homes, M’Lynn was immediately snuggling up to her new foster, demanding pets and telling him all about her day with the kittens. When M’Lynn holds a conversation, she doesn’t just meow, she also trills, chirps and mutters, a whole delightful vocabulary of communication! She plays with toys, especially fishing toys, even more enthusiastically than her kittens did. She didn’t get a chance to interact with any other cats in her foster home, but she seems like she could thrive either as a single cat or in a multi-cat household with proper slow introductions. Just make sure you have lots of pets and head scratches to offer!Sweet M'Lynn is waiting to meet you.  Apply to adopt to be the first to meet her or attend our weekly adoptipon event at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, Saturday from 12-4pm.  All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.           All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
