My story

Meet Molly – Your New Best Friend Molly is a sweet, spayed female German Shepherd with a striking tan and black coat and a heart as big as her 80-pound frame. Rescued from the euthanasia list at OKC Animal Shelter with a broken pelvis, she's healed up beautifully and is now ready to find her forever home. Molly is all about joy and connection. She’s playful, loves going for walks, playing fetch, and wrestling with her stuffed chicken toy. She’s happiest when she’s with her people—soaking up belly rubs and affection. She adores kids and gets along well with cats, too. She’s been fostered with another female German Shepherd but showed dominant behavior, so she should not be placed with another female dog. She’d do best as an only dog or with a calm male dog around her size. In public settings, she’s shown no negative reactions to other dogs at the shelter or vet's office. Molly has completed a board-and-train program and knows her basics—she walks nicely on leash, sits on command, and is eager to please. Continued training is encouraged to help her grow into her full potential, especially given her size, strength, and excited personality. Crate-trained, affectionate, and full of life, Molly is ready to bring love, loyalty, and laughter to the right family.
