My story

Meet Eddie – Your Ride-or-Die in Dog Form Eddie is the kind of dog who makes every moment better just by being by your side. Whether he’s stretched out next to you on the couch or trotting happily along on a walk, Eddie is most at ease when he’s with his person—close, safe, and loved. He’s got the soul of a snuggler and the spirit of an adventurer. He adores car rides, enjoys leisurely strolls, and walks beautifully on leash. Around kids, he’s a gentle sweetheart, always ready to curl up for some affection or trot behind them with quiet loyalty. He’s incredibly smart, already mastering cues like “sit” and “lay down,” and thrives when given a little structure and a lot of love. Eddie is still learning that being alone doesn’t mean being forgotten. With consistency and support, he’s making great progress with separation anxiety and learning to settle when his humans aren’t around. He does have a strong personality and can be protective of his toys or favorite people, but with the right guidance, he continues to grow into his best self. Eddie is looking for a home that will match his devotion with stability. A home that will set kind boundaries, provide steady companionship, and never stop reminding him that he’s safe now—for good. He’s available for foster-to-adopt or direct adoption. Either way, he’s ready to meet his match. Adoption is $350, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
