My story

Meet Josie — a gentle soul with a heart full of love, just waiting to blossom in the right home. This sweet girl enjoys romping around the backyard and simply being part of the pack. She’s done wonderfully in her foster home alongside both dogs and cats, and she sleeps peacefully through the night in her cozy pen. Josie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a slow, gentle approach, she quickly warms up and shows her affectionate side. She came to us from a large hoarding case involving 70 dogs, so she’s still learning what it means to be a cherished family member. Because of this, Josie will thrive in a calm, patient home — preferably with adults or older children who understand that love sometimes takes a little time. Josie is ready to begin her new life, full of love, safety, and maybe even a few well-earned treats. If you have a little extra patience and a whole lot of heart, she just might be the perfect addition to your family.
