My story

Please contact Diane Pedulla (dianep@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.small sweet boy seeking fresh start and love!TITO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:  Tito         Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of June 2025         SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight: 13.5 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs and is now happily living with a cat! We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster   Tito is Looking For: His own humans! Tito is a sweet, gentle boy with a playful spirit and a big heart. At just 2 years old, he’s the perfect mix of youthful energy and calm cuddles. Small in size but huge in love! He would do best in a loving home where he can be part of the family. And he's ready to be both your walking buddy and your snuggle partner!   What do you say? Is there a Tito-shaped gap in your lap and your life? What My Foster Says About Me: Tito is the sweetest and most gentle boy! He follows me around the house — even investigating the shower! — and curls up like a little croissant beside me whenever I am relaxing in bed or on the couch. During my workday, he likes to lounge beside the window; on leash he is very responsive and he walks at a brisk pace. Tito enjoys the company of other dogs, is open to being pet by children, and adores my big boy cat, with whom he actively plays and snuggles. I think he would do well with a family who enjoys taking him for walks and curling up on the couch. Some dog or cat friends would be a plus, too! As chihuahuas do, he will even tap your hand as if to say, 'Excuse me, I need more tummy rubs!' Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at   bit.ly/adoptaluckydog  .   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament.   Thank you for contacting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!  Please visit us online at      www.luckydoganimalrescue.org   .    BE A FOSTER!!! Fosters make it possible for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to save and care for homeless and abandoned dogs! To learn about fostering, please contact fostering@luckydoganimalrescue.org! BE A SPONSOR!!!! Sponsors help Lucky Dog support the many dogs we save. To learn more about sponsorship, please contact     info@luckydoganimalrescue.org   ! June 17, 2025, 1:23 pm
