My story

Opal is a lively, lovable kitten with a huge personality packed into a tiny, fluffy body. She’s playful, energetic, and always on the lookout for her next toy—or snack! Whether it’s chasing a feather wand, diving into a tunnel, or curling up for a nap after zoomies, Opal is all in. Prior to being rescued, this sweet girl was separated from her mom and siblings at just 3 weeks old and has been learning how to kitten through patient socialization and positive interactions with people and pets. She’s come a long way and is doing great with redirection and learning to play without getting too overstimulated. She’ll thrive with someone who understands kittens and is committed to continuing her gentle guidance as she grows. Opal loves other cats and gets along well with dogs. She hasn’t been around young kids, so slow introductions would be best. When she’s tired, she’s a snuggly little lovebug who enjoys being close to her people—and when she’s awake, she’s a whirlwind of curiosity, comedy, and cuteness.
