My story

* 4 Little Paws is helping a Texas Animal Shelter by featuring a few wonderful dogs patiently waiting to find forever homes! Meet Digit... Hi, I’m Digit! The most handsome Blue Lacy and Australian Kelpie mix you’ll ever meet. I’m 3 years old and weigh 65 pounds. I’m the kind of dog who’s always up for an adventure but just as happy to snuggle up when the day winds down. Whether we’re hiking a trail, exploring new places, or curled up on the couch, I’m just happy to be by your side. I’ve also been told I’m quite the looker. Tall and handsome, with a unique coat that blends black, white, warm brown, and a soft smoky gray. Some say it looks like I’ve been dusted with stardust! My golden eyes are full of curiosity and love, and while I do turn heads, I’ve also got a heart to match. I’m confident, social, and great with other dogs. I know when it’s time to play and when it’s time to relax. My favorite spot to nap is your bed, I hope you have room for me! I’m not a fan of cats, but I love people, kids included. I bring good vibes everywhere I go! I’m house trained, know how to sit, use a doggy door, walk well on a leash, and have great manners. I’m the full package. I once had a family I loved with my whole heart, but everything changed when my person passed away. My brother and I ended up in a crowded shelter. He got adopted, and I was left behind. Just when I was starting to lose hope, a rescue stepped in and gave me a second chance. Now I’m safe in a loving foster home, waiting for my forever one. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
