My story

· Are avoidant of collaring, harnessing, or leashing and/or have specific training plan and protocol for collaring, harnessing, and leashing that is mandatory for safety. · Have shown mild aversion to body handling during daily care, or during walks/yard time. o Mild aversion would include body language such as tail tucking or ear flattened, moving away, or avoiding, displaying appeasement behavior such as yawning, lip licking, or paw raising. · May require management techniques for medical handling or restraint in conjunction with other behaviors categorized as orange. · May display moderate reactivity on leash or behind a barrier to any people, other dogs, animals, cars, bicycles, skateboards, or other moving objects that are difficult to manage or interrupt. o Moderate reactivity would be described as barking that requires creating distance between the stimuli and the dog or lunging/pulling toward the stimulus. · May show mild to moderate guarding of food bowls, toys, or high value items seen as resources. · Mild to moderate resource guarding of food would be stiffening, hunkering down, or growling, or snapping. · May have a level 1, 2, or 3a bite history.
