My story

Falkor’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. This golden-coated sweetheart arrived as a medical pull from AAC, and it’s believed he was hit by a car before making his way into our care. Sadly, his injured leg didn’t heal properly, and he’ll likely need an amputation to finally be free of the pain he's quietly endured. But despite everything, Falkor’s spirit shines though! This gentle giant has a heart as soft as his fur. Mellow and easy-going, Falkor is the kind of dog who just wants a cozy corner, a loving hand for head pats and scritches, and the peace and quiet of a calm home where he can heal—physically and emotionally. Falkor isn’t asking for much—just a safe space to rest, recover, and finally experience the comfort and love he’s always deserved.
