My story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please complete an adoption application:  https://form.jotform.com/251336436598163  or email the adoption counselor for more information: lisastern.tr@gmail.com  Dog's Name:  Finnian (FIN0625NCSMD) Estimated Breed:  Maltese/Shih Tzu Approximate Age: 2 years  Approximate Weight:  20 lbs Currently Living at:  Foster Adoption Fee:  $400   DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Poor Finnian was unfortunate to be living with small children who did not treat him well. As a result, while he is a very sweet boy, he will require an experienced adopter who is willing to take the time for him to trust and love. Obviously, a household without young children. Once he knows and trusts you, you will have a friend for life. He's just landed with a foster, and will be ready to adopt soon. Here’s a little about this handsome man with a cute little underbite:  Personality:  Sweet, quiet, and shy. Needs time to get to know you.  Training & Behavior: Walks well on leash, seems housetrained.  Health & Wellness:  heartworm negative, up to date on rabies, bordetella, dhlpp, Not a fan of the vet :)  Perfect Home:  Quiet, relaxed home. No young children. Previous experience with dog ownership required. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee. Sponsor Me! Make a tax-deductible donation today by visiting us at    https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor.    Donations help us offset boarding costs and additional medical treatment for those dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at    hattonanimalrescue.org   . If you have any questions or would like to adopt Finnian, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
