My story

Meet Blaze! This handsome young man is looking for his forever home. We estimate he’s around 1.5yrs old and his fosters say he is more medium energy as far as huskies go. He settled into his foster home quickly and made fast friends with the humans and other pups. He’s an out-going, loving, happy-go-lucky boy looking for the right humans to call his own. Blaze is pretty much your typical husky through and through. He’s very vocal and absolutely loves car ride and being with his people. In terms of food motivation, his fosters say he “would jump through a hoop of fire for a high value treat, but will laugh in your face if you try to give him a milk bone and expect him to do something.” So again - he’s a bit of a husky! They say he can be “bougie” and is not a fan of the summer heat - not that we can blame him. He is a big fan of water though, and loves to play in water bowls, hoses, sprinklers, and to swim. Blaze plays well with other dogs large and small, is crate trained and walks on a leash without much pulling. He does jump up on new people entering the home out of excitement and has shown some gentle mouthing when he gets really worked up in play. He’ll also get into the trash if he’s given the opportunity. His fosters have seen some marking, but we are hoping this improves now that he has just been neutered. He should be good with kids 7+. Cats are unknown. Overall Blaze is a very well-rounded, friendly, snuggly boy who really has no big behavioral concerns - he is going to make a family very lucky!
