My story

** Note: Solae can fly to LA and join his forever family on June 30, upon adoption. He is currently in Korea. Background: Solae and his brother, Bendi, were rescued from a city pound in Milyang, Korea earlier this spring. Since then, Solae has been living in our boarding facility with a group of other dogs, quietly waiting for his turn to be welcomed into a forever home. Personality and Socialization: Solae is a smart, courageous, and very affectionate boy. He has a medium energy level—he loves playtime, especially with his brother, and enjoys spending time with people without getting overly excited. He bonds quickly and appreciates simple comforts like cuddles, a warm lap, or just being close to someone kind. With other dogs, Solae is friendly and playful. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, including bigger and louder ones. He isn’t intimidated by them—in fact, he often tries to protect his brother, Bendi. Behaviour: Solae has shown himself to be a well-behaved and cooperative little guy. He rides calmly in the car and has been very tolerant and composed during vet exams and baths. He’s even received praise from the clinic staff for being such a calm and easy patient. He’s comfortable using indoor pee pads but also does well with outdoor potty routines. Since he’s still learning to walk on a leash, his future adopter should be patient and ready to guide him through leash training. He also enjoys playing with toys and is quite content keeping himself entertained or engaging with doggy friends when the mood strikes. Health and Diet: Solae is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. His parasite screening came back clear, and he is on regular monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry kibble and hasn’t shown any signs of allergies. He recently received a thorough veterinary checkup and is healthy and ready for adoption. Ideal Home: Solae will thrive in a peaceful and nurturing environment with someone who understands the needs of a young dog still discovering the world. He would do best with a guardian who is patient, present, and ready to help him grow at his own pace. We are looking for a home where someone has the time and flexibility to be with him most of the day. Leaving a puppy alone for long stretches isn’t ideal, especially while they’re still settling in and learning. A person who works from home or is retired would be a great fit. Solae is a very smart, loving, and affectionate boy. With love and consistency, he will blossom into a deeply devoted and loving companion. ** Apply to adopt him through link below: https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/solae/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Solae, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
