My story

Roxy’s story is one of quiet strength and endless hope. Born with a rare birth defect in her leg, Roxy spent much of her young life in discomfort—and was later abandoned at a shelter alongside her two siblings. After a routine spay, she returned to find her sisters had been adopted, leaving Roxy behind, heartbroken and alone. But Roxy never gave up. Despite everything she’s endured, she remains incredibly sweet, gentle, and full of love. She adores other dogs and has quickly become a foster favorite, winning hearts everywhere she goes with her affectionate nature and soulful eyes. Thanks to the rescue, Roxy recently underwent advanced orthopedic surgery to give her a brand-new knee—an expensive, specialized procedure fully covered to ensure she could finally live without pain. She’s recovering beautifully and already showing signs of the joyful, energetic pup she was always meant to be. Now, Roxy is ready for a forever home that will love her as deeply as she loves in return. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly curl up beside you, greet you with a gentle tail wag, and remind you every day what resilience, trust, and unconditional love truly look like.
