From the moment he was found wandering the streets of Orange County, it was clear that Comet had been through more than any puppy should. Alone, scared, and suffering from a painful condition called entropion—where his eyelids curled inward and irritated his eyes constantly—this young Labrador retriever had every reason to give up. But even then, Comet’s spirit never wavered. His tail still wagged. His heart still hoped.
