My story

Meet Banban 9-month-old | Spayed female Jindo mix | 8.6kg | Black & White Rescue Story: Banban was rescued from a factory where she had been tied up and mistreated. A concerned local who visited the site frequently witnessed someone hitting and even throwing her. They reported the abuse, and Banban was safely removed from that harmful environment. Due to the trauma, she may occasionally let out a startled scream if grabbed unexpectedly or startled by another dog’s sudden play. However, these are rare and temporary reactions from her past trauma. Socialization – People: Banban is affectionate and friendly, even with strangers. She will approach to seek affection and allows people to pet her easily. However, if someone tries to grab her suddenly, especially before she’s fully comfortable, she might scream out of fear due to her past abuse. This is a short-term response that fades once trust is built. She’s comfortable with both men and women and is particularly gentle and patient with children under 13. She’s okay being picked up by placing your arms under her belly and even enjoys belly rubs and gentle touches once she feels secure. Socialization – Dogs: Banban is social and eager to greet and play with other dogs, including new ones. She prefers dogs her size or smaller, and tends to avoid dogs that are overly rough or much larger than her. With familiar dogs, she plays more confidently—even boisterously. When meeting unfamiliar dogs, a slow and calm introduction is best. She gets along especially well with puppies and dogs that are calm and well-mannered. Cats: She hasn’t had direct exposure to cats yet, but based on her personality, a cat test can be arranged if needed. Energy Level: Moderate. She enjoys outdoor activities but knows how to rest calmly afterward. Leash Skills: Banban walks very well on leash, doesn’t pull, and follows her human calmly. She’s an easy walking partner, even for first-time dog owners. Other Behavior Notes: She doesn’t guard food from people or dogs, and she shows no signs of separation anxiety. While she dislikes being confined, she rarely barks and settles quietly when placed in a kennel. She currently does most of her business outdoors.
