This striking hunk spent 1.5 years in a shelter as part of a large multi-dog court case, held as “property” during a lengthy legal process. But you’d never know it, Deon hasn’t let his past dim his spirit. He’s full of life, heart, and happiness. Deon is the definition of a good boy. He’s crate trained, fully potty trained, walks beautifully on leash with no reactivity, and loves car rides. He currently lives with a chihuahua, a puppy, and a senior dog—proof of his easy-going nature and social skills. This smart, eager-to-please boy has an impressive list of skills. He knows sit, down, place (on a dog bed), and has excellent recall. He even walks politely in a “heel”! No quirks, no drama—just a rock-solid companion ready for his forever family. Deon is the whole package: loyal, loving, well-trained, and full of charm. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
