WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Honey - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! **Meet Honey Bunny** - Adorable, Energetic, and Just a Little Extra (In the Best Way) **Breed: - Westie / Energizer Bunny mix **Age - 1yo (with big zoomie energy and an even bigger heart) **Size - More "bounding Labrador" than "compact lap dog" Let's just get this out there: Honey is amazing. Like, everyone at the dog park wants to take her home, amazing. She's sweet, smart, eager to please, and greets every day like it's a party thrown in her honor. She loves people (yes, even toddlers), other dogs (especially big, playful ones), and even tolerates cats with a...you sure you don't wanna chase me? curiosity. She's been living in a beautiful home with acres to run on, a mom who adores her, and a built-in doggy sibling. Unfortunately, her energy and size have been a bit *too much* for her little dog brother. He's more tea party, she's more trampoline park. And while she means absolutely no harm (her heart is gold) she's just not the right match for his more delicate demeanor. **Honey's Dream Home - A bigger, confident dog sibling who won't be flattened by her enthusiastic wrestling style - An active home (bonus points for fenced yards, hiking boots, or a willingness to throw tennis balls on repeat) **What She's Great At? - Coming when called (especially if there's a treat) - Letting you wipe her muddy paws like a little lady (after she's joyfully dug half a tunnel to China) - Crate sleeping like a champ 7 hours straight! - Car rides and general adventuring - Loving everyone she meets with her whole wiggly body Honey isn't a project dog. She's just a puppy who needs the right match: a home that gets her, loves her energy, and maybe has a sturdy canine buddy or two who can show her the ropes. She's not looking for a retirement home, she's looking for a *second act* full of walks, fetch, swimming, couch snuggles, and people who laugh at her zoomies. If you want to be part of Honey's life party just stop scrolling and fill out her adoption application. Honey will take it from there. You can find it at haydudeequine.org
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
