My story

Welcome Chestnut to CCPAL Rescue. Chestnut is a 2.5 month old Chiweenie is our best guess. She looks mostly like a soft coated Dachshund mix. She has a really soft coat that is feathery. She weighs about 8 lbs. She should stay a small dog full grown. She is outgoing, trusting, affectionate and very sweet. She is good in a crate and really good with her sibling Flynn. She likes to be held and is soft when you hold her. She would be best in a home that someone doesn’t work all day everyday. Puppies need socialization and time being with their human. She also will need to finish off her puppy training. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She was rescued from one of the local kill shelters in Texas. They were out of space and her time was up. CCPAL is giving her a second chance for a new forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200.
