My story

Meet Tiana Tiana is a 1.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog weighing 45 pounds, and she is as striking as she is spirited. With her white coat and bold black markings, she’s a head-turner, but it’s her loyalty, sweetness, and zest for life that truly shine. Energy and Personality Tiana is high energy and thrives on activity, puzzles, and play. She’s eager to engage with her people, quick to bond, and protective in her own way. She can be mouthy and enthusiastic in her play, so she’ll do best with dog-savvy humans who appreciate her exuberance. Training and Behavior Tiana has a curious and mischievous streak - she’s still in that inappropriate chewing and “what can I eat next?” phase, so supervision and enrichment are key. Fast movements can make her raise her hackles, though whether it’s fear or protectiveness is still a mystery. With steady guidance, she’ll learn to feel safe and confident. She’s food and treat reactive around other dogs, but perfectly fine with people, toys, and attention. Social Life She has a rough-and-tumble play style, especially with dogs who match her intensity. With others, like the household Border Collie, it can feel more like a clash of super-athletes. She’s not a fit for cats, but older, dog-savvy kids who can respect her space and energy level could be a good match. Best Home Fit Tiana’s dream home is an active couple or family with a large yard or fenced space where she can run and burn off energy.
