Boots is a very sweet and playful older gentleman. He loves to play ball and is well-behaved in the home. He does seem to enjoy being around other dogs. However, he does display dominance behaviors like hovering. He has never shown aggression toward other dogs but a slow introduction to any new dog is recommended to make sure the personalities match. Boots is house trained, doggy door trained and leash trained.  Boots is a cattle dog mix, so having some understanding of the breed is helpful. He does have some nipping tendencies, especially when startled from a deep sleep. His owner is experiencing some medical issues, and Boots seems to be reacting to this. It is recommended he go to an adult only home or one with older children as kids playing can bring out his nipping/herding instincts. Cattle dog lovers meet Boots today!
