My story

Mallory has been in foster care, but is now back at the shelter waiting to find her new family!A note from her foster: Mallory aka “Mamasita”This Mama came into the shelter with her several day old kittens. Having a tough go in the start of life, Mama was unsure of new humans and surroundings. After her kittens had grown and found their forever homes, it was time for her to focus on herself. While in foster care she slowly began to come out of hiding, making herself more seen around the house. Mallory had no issues getting acquainted and trusting the other adult resident cats in her foster home. Although still a bit cautious of being approached for pets, she has been known to hold a convo with meows quite well. So we hope patience is taken with her when being welcomed to new home.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
