Piper

My story

A28675 Piper is a brown and white tabby colored, approximately 5-year-old, 14-pound, spayed female, Domestic Short-Haired Cat. She entered the shelter as an owner surrender 06-16-2025 due to the fact she did not get along with the dog in the home. Piper is a friendly, but timid and shy girl here in the shelter. She is still trying to figure out this shelter environment and why she is here. Our staff describes her as a mild-mannered kitty that loves to snuggle in your arms. They say she is terrified of dogs. In the playroom she cautiously explored all the cubbies and played with some of the feather toys with us. But ultimately, she loved sitting in our lap and being loved on. The previous owner says that she is litterbox trained and has lived with other cats, and dogs, but not children. They did say she is terrified of dogs and really didn’t get along with the other cat, but they left each other alone. She may need to be the only pet in the home. Piper will be a loyal, loving companion in her new forever home.
