Her mom developed mastitis while caring for a litter of 10 puppies, leaving Mia and her siblings in a vulnerable situation. Now a year old, Mia has gone through some tough times, but she’s emerged stronger and more determined than ever. Mia can be a bit guarded at first, and her trust may take some time, but is unwavering once given. Mia loves playing with toys and other dogs. Whether it's a game of fetch or a romp in the yard, she's always up for some fun. And while she may be an independent girl, she would do well with a confident canine as her companion at home. We recommend a low-key environment with a female owner or household as a perfect fit for Mia. She's a true alpha with an independent streak, and her clever and curious nature will keep you on your toes. Mia is more than just a pretty face - she's got brains too! Her intelligence shines through in her playful antics and clever problem-solving skills. Mia is also happy curling up next to those she trusts, for some cuddles and quiet time after a day of play. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, Mia is also content in her solitude. She would do well in a home with a confident canine companion or as the only dog in the household.
