My story

Introducing Gianna! She was brought to the shelter on 6/6 because she was on a journey to find her way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. So she is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep her safe and sound so she never has to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter again. Gianna is only 8 months old and weighs a mere 12lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet as can be, very cute, a little timid, wants to be held and loved on. She snuggled her little face under a volunteer's chin as she was being escorted to her photo session. She would make a wonderful couch potato just to let her decompress better. She is so quiet in her kennel you would never know she was there. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 324; her ID is 10668. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Please keep in mind that puppies are a lot of fun, exciting, and magical to have but they are also a lot of work. So if you have the proper space, time, devotion, patience and lifestyle to ensure Gianna has the best upbringing possible, then she is the girl for you! Gianna is current on vaccines, will be spayed and microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Gianna is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
