My story

Meet Simba, a 12 year old Peke mix rescued from the Ft Worth shelter. He weighs 8.8 pounds. 1. Has free roam of the house. Enjoys following us sometimes but mostly likes to lay on one of his beds. Loves to explore the back yard. 2. Very sweet, loving, and appreciative. Loves to lay on laps and on the couch snuggled very close to us. Will come up and ask for a lift or will jump in your lap. Gives lots of kisses. Likes to sleep on the bed with his people. 3. Not reactive to other dogs at all. He wouldn’t mind being the only dog. 4. House trained. Will go to the door when he needs to go out. Sometimes will lay on his bed and softly whine a little after dinner when he needs to go potty. 5. Does not bite. 6. Food and treat motivated. Follows us to the kitchen for treats. 7. Rarely ever barks. 8. Loves walking on a leash, but prefers to walk a little fast. 9. We make homemade food with chicken, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, rice and oatmeal. Eats well. Has had a lot of teeth removed, so he will need to be fed soft food. 10. Comes when called. 11. Heartworm and worm prevention given on the 13th of each month. Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
