My story

Meet Osa! 1.5-year-old Aussie/German Shepherd mix, spayed and fully vetted.   Osa is a striking blend of intelligence, loyalty, and personality. A true working dog at heart, she thrives on having a job to do—whether it’s playing an intense game of fetch, searching for hidden toys in a game of “find it,” or simply shadowing you from room to room like the devoted Velcro dog she is.   At 1.5 years old, Osa has energy to spare and needs daily mental and physical stimulation. She’s headstrong, sometimes stubborn, and very smart—traits that make her a great candidate for someone experienced with shepherd or working breeds.    Osa will do best with a confident, consistent owner who can give her structure, set boundaries, and keep her engaged.   While she loves activity, don’t be fooled—Osa has a soft side. She’s a snuggler who’s just as happy curled up next to you on the couch as she is sprinting across the yard. Her loyalty runs deep, and she bonds closely with her people.   Osa is not a beginner’s dog, but in the right home—with leadership, love, and plenty of opportunities to “work”—she will be an incredible companion.   Ideal home:  • Experienced dog owner  • Active lifestyle with time for training and play  • No small children (due to her strong personality)  • Possibly as an only dog or with a submissive canine companion  Ready to give this beautiful, brainy girl the life she deserves?
