My story

Sunshine, who is 7-years-old, is a handsome orange tabby with a quiet charm and a gentle soul. He’s the kind of cat who doesn’t rush into new friendships, but once he feels safe, his personality begins to shine—just like his name suggests. Sunshine is an independent guy who appreciates having his own space and the freedom to do things at his own pace. He has previously lived with a mellow cat and a calm dog, but he’d likely be happiest in a peaceful home where he can relax without too much commotion. If you’re patient and kind, Sunshine will reward you with trust—and maybe even a few slow blinks of affection. The secret to winning him over? Food. This foodie feline believes all good relationships start with treats. If you’re looking for a low-key companion with a heart of gold, Sunshine may be the perfect match. Give him a cozy place to call home, and he’ll brighten your life in his own sweet, subtle way. Sunshine has had a recent dental with only 2 extractions necessary. Sunshine is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (7+ years old) is $75 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
