Emerald

My story

Emerald is a tabby female about 1 ½ years of age. She has a short haired coat in tan & brown with black striping throughout her fur. She has long white whiskers and a hint of green in her pretty eyes. Emerald and another kitty were left at the shelter when the owner was notified she had too many animals. Both were pregnant, underweight for mom cats, and wearing dirty collars that had worn grooves in their neck fur. Both went to a foster home for TLC until the kittens were born. Emerald is a sweet, loving cat who is desperate for the cuddles that she probably rarely got. She is smart, even natured and, having weaned her one live-born kitten (three others weren’t developed enough to survive) is ready for a REAL, forever home. She likes any wet food flavor except beef and dry food is good, too. She mostly wants to be by someone but will play with wand or ribbon toys and things she can bat around.
