My story

Hi! My name is Jazzy and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m 3 year old female Shepherd Mix who is eager for a new home! I recently came in from an overcrowded shelter in Taft (don't ask me where that is because I don't know, people just put me in a van and now I'm here)! I'm a very lively gal with a pep in my step and I'm ready to be taken home. Ideally, my person knows a thing or two about my breed- like how we enjoy our daily workouts, chit chatting, singing awoo awoos on the daily, and I'd love someone who can take care of my luscious locks. Winter is out, summer is in and my hair needs some brushing! I'm house trained, walk nicely on leash, have played with another dog, and have done well going offsite with the kind staff here. What's not to love? Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
