My story

Shyla is the kind of dog who makes every place feel a little more like home. This gorgeous brindle Plott Hound is four years old and perfectly pocket-sized at 34 pounds — not too big, not too small, just right. She`s housetrained, sleeps through the night, and brings a calm, gentle presence wherever she goes.Her dream day includes an early morning walk in the park, a little freedom to sniff and explore in a fenced yard, a breezy car ride with the windows down, and ending the day cuddled up next to her favorite people. And trust us, cuddling is her love language. She’ll squish herself into the smallest space between you and a friend just to be close, smiling the whole time and gently pawing at you if you dare stop petting her.Shyla has a heart as soft as her ears. She`s great with older kids, has just started playing sweetly with her doggy foster sibling, and is always happiest when she’s part of the family action. She’s also full of funny little quirks — from face-scratching floor rubs to her sploot-and-crawl combo when she’s excited, to sleeping with all four paws neatly bunched up like a bouquet.
