My story

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Chewy is about 5 yrs old and very overweight. He was brought to the shelter after his female owner passed away. He only lived with this owner so did not meet alot of people. He is a little shy of strangers for a minute but then pesters the person for attention. He is playful and energetic and a very affectionate dog. He was a housedog and was only outside to play or pottie. He was allowed to sleep in the owners bed. He was housebroken in the home. He walks on leash well. He is afraid of loud noises such as thunder and fireworks. He is good with respectable children. He does bark at strangers when they first come into the home , but once they enter he seeks attention. He loves to play with other dogs and was surrendered with Goldie. He would do best with other social dog in the home if not placed with Goldie. He likes to chase the outside cats, but is good with inside cats. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Chewy into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed.
