My story

MEET MAYA #5! Maya is a 50lb ball of fun and affection, ready to bring joy (and belly rub requests) into your life! This friendly, playful girl thrives on human connection, loves her daily routine, and knows how to turn any spot — soft bed or awkward corner — into nap central. She’s house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and currently follows a routine of morning and evening walks, playtime after breakfast, and lots of lounging in between. She adores treats, toys, and a good backyard zoomie session. Maya is friendly with people and other dogs, but her enthusiasm can be a bit much at first. She’s a high-energy greeter who may need some help settling down around new dog friends. She’s not aggressive — just vocal and over-the-top excited. With time, patience, and continued training, Maya is learning to manage her energy and play more appropriately. She can be a toy hog and loves rough-and-tumble play, so a dog-savvy home is ideal.
