Gumdrop is a young, happy, playful, smart, and snuggly pup who adores the two Boston companions in his foster home and he absolutely loves playing with toys! Gumdrop had a challenging start to life as he came into rescue via the Pima shelter with two broken elbows. One of them had begun to heal on its own, while the other required immediate surgery to correct and so he is currently learning how to use his recently repaired leg. Gumdrop's wonderful foster has been rehabilitating him using a swimming pool with a life jacket, allowing him to strengthen the muscles in his mended leg. He will still need physical therapy for the next year and someone or a family with regular access to pool would be ideal to help him gain the use of his leg. Gumdrop is up to date on all his vaccinations, neutered, and now available for adoption! He steals the heart of every human (and doggo) that he meets.
