My story

Meet Mezcal â&#194&#128&#194&#148 a stunning little survivor. Found injured in the community with a devolved tail and injured hind leg, Mezcalâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s story is one of true perseverance. Just days after settling into her foster home, she was diagnosed with panleukopenia â&#194&#128&#194&#148 a tough illness for any kitten. But true to her nature, she fought hard and bounced back with remarkable speed. Now, her hind leg injury is fully recovered and her tail injury has led to Mezcal losing most of her tail... but the cutest little partial tail still remains. Despite a rough start, her energy and affection have been steadily growing, and sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s become a moderately active, sweet, and curious companion. Mezcal is the kind of cat who reminds you how powerful resilience can be. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s gentle, loving, and ready for a forever home where she can finally enjoy the comfort, care, and companionship she so deeply deserves. Whoever gets to love her next is in for a very special bond. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise.
