My story

Woody is your typical go lucky puppy! He has one half of an ear from an accident as a newborn but its all healed now and he doesn't see himself any different from his fellow siblings. He weighed 20 pounds on June 17, 2025. Woody is up to date on all vaccines, flea and heartworm prevention, already neutered and his adoption fee is $350.  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
