My story

Everyone loves Bat Cat, and you will too! Bat Cat is very confident and friendly. She loves people and will purr and make biscuits whenever she's around them! If you're looking for a purr-fect kitty companion, Bat Cat is your girl!Bat Cat is waiting to meet you at Thrift Hound, 234 New Leicester Hwy, daily during business hours.  Applications are not processed in the store so if you hope to take her home the same day you meet her, be sure to submit the online application and wait for one of our adoption counselors to give you a call.  All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.           All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
