My story

Nara and her four kittens — Poppy, Susie, Marnie, and Milo — were all rescued from the streets and brought into a safe foster home. At first, they were shy and unsure of people, but they’ve each made amazing progress adjusting to life indoors. With love, patience, and good food, they have blossomed into playful, curious, and loving cats. They are now ready to find forever homes! These sweet cats can be adopted in pairs (which we recommend), or any of them can go home with their loving mama Nara. Nara’s story is one that truly touches the heart. This gentle mama was rescued from a very hard life on the streets, where she was doing her best to protect her babies. Understandably, she was very frightened when first brought inside — but even at her most scared, Nara never once showed aggression. She is a quiet, kind soul who is simply trying her best to trust again. Today, Nara is still a cautious cat who prefers the safety of her hiding spots, but she adores her kittens and other cats — she is often found cuddled up in a protective pile with them, which brings her comfort. With people, Nara needs patience and time. She has beautiful big eyes that seem to be asking for love and safety. Nara would thrive in a calm home with an adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to let her progress at her own pace. She is so deserving of a second chance. We know that in the right home, with kindness and time, she will open up and show her sweet side even more.
