My story

Meet Budgie! 💚At just 11 week old, Budgie is one tiny bundle of sweetness with a big personality already starting to shine. Though he's still very young, he’s showing signs of being a curious, vocal little guy who loves warmth, gentle cuddles, and exploring his world (with a little help, of course). As he grows, Budgie is sure to become a playful, affectionate companion full of energy and charm.Budgie will be ready for adoption once he's a bit older, but you can stop by now to learn more and follow his journey!For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
