My story

Zombie is a handsome 1-year-old orange and white cat with a lot to say—he absolutely loves to chat with anyone who will listen! While he may be a bit shy at first, with a loving and patient family, he’ll come out of his shell and show off his sweet, curious personality. Zombie does have some sensitive skin, so he prefers gentle pets and scratches, but once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll happily share his conversation and companionship. This charming guy is ready to find a home where he can relax, be himself, and talk your ear off! Zombie tested positive for FIV, but there’s no need to be alarmed. Being FIV-positive simply means she has antibodies from exposure to the virus—it doesn't mean she’s sick. In fact, many FIV-positive cats like Zombie can live long, healthy, and happy lives without ever developing any clinical signs of illness. FIV is not easily transmitted and poses little risk to other cats in a stable, low-stress home. Zombie’s diagnosis shouldn’t define her—she’s just as deserving of love, care, and a cozy forever home as any other cat. Stop in and meet Zombie in person during our adoption hours. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
