My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ares was transferred to our shelter from one of our rescue friends. He's a big, handsome, stocky dude with a large capacity to have fun. He's around 5 years old and appears to be a shepherd mix of some type. There could be quite a few breeds in there. He has been fully vetted and his fee is $150. Ares has done well with other dogs but can play pretty rough. We think he'd probably do okay with a polite female dog. He's a strong dog so he'd probably be too much for really young kids. He will need a capable owner who can provide him with consistent exercise. He is NOT a fan of cats. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
