My story

Meet Josie 🌿 Josie is a young adult kitty with a wildflower soul—beautiful, resilient, and finally beginning to bloom. Most likely having spent her whole life outdoors, every day brings a “first” for her: the first time she napped on a soft blanket, the first time she purred while getting head scratches, the first time she accepted a treat from a gentle hand. And each of those firsts brings her one step closer to discovering how sweet life can be. While her instincts still tell her to growl or hiss when she’s unsure, she’s never once tried to bite or swat. It’s just her way of saying, “I’ve been through a lot, but I’m trying.” And when she feels safe? That’s when her true self shines. Josie becomes the softest, most tender little lovebug who would do anything for a crunchy treat and a warm hand on her head. Josie is very fearful of dogs and would do best in a home without them—or possibly with a calm, respectful dog who will give her the space she needs to feel secure. She’s not asking for much—just a peaceful home filled with love, patience, and understanding. In return, Josie promises to keep blossoming and showing you just how special she really is. 🌸
